Bloggeration 21April1008- I Heart Jason Mraz

Oh man...This was one of the best weekend's of my life!
Jason Mraz is probably my favorite artist/musician, which is has to be something, because I always have a hard time saying who is my favorite because I really do love so many different bands and artists. But, this kid is so freakin' talented that he makes you wanna smack something.
I was actually lucky enough to see him perform twice over the weekend. On Friday, I hiked it over to Richmond to see him play at The National. Then I drove back home Saturday afternoon for the show at The NorVa on Saturday night, where I actually got the chance to meet him...it was amazing...the concert was even more amazing.

He was actually a lot taller than I expected...I thought ol' boy was like 5'8" and as you can see here (standing next to me and Kim, the tallest ladies in Hampton Roads) he measured up pretty well...hot.
So anyway, I recorded his performance of "I'm Yours" in Richmond on Friday night and I've been trying to load up the stupid thing on YouTube and it's not really working out..so I will keep trying to get that up...If I don't break the computer first...technology is my friend and my foe.
Oh! If you haven't had the chance to download the EP's from his new album, "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things" from iTunes, you should check those out. They're acoustic tracks from the CD which is out on May 13 and they're really great. My favorites are, "Make It Mine" and "Live High."
