Chucks Video Blog 04/21/08

So this past weekend was another weekend with the kids. We had an absolute blast. Fishing again...then out to Munden Point Park, Then to Lesner Bridge, Then to Charlie's Seafood on Shore Drive...and then playing with friends at the beach and a trip to Waffle House for breakfast. Sunday Morning Charlie wanted to make fruit salad...so we did.
For those who have been following my progress over the past few years, you know I love creating video, editing, and producing short form media. In my past. I used to create TV commercials and things like that when I lived out west in Cali. Though in those days I was not allowed to touch the camera or editing stations because of unions...I finally (about ayear ago) began learning how to do it all myself.
I bought a cheap video camera with 3CCD's (broadcast 3 chip) at Circuit City and then a friend had me produce some videos which enabled me to get my hands on a nice video editor. Its not so much in the camera (for web stuff) as it is in the processing. In this video of our weekend, I was playing with color correction, frame rates, and boom type shots (using my legs). One day I hope to get all teh big toys I used to play with....but for now, this stuff works...at least for my purposes.
