HAPPY EARTH DAY! Yay - I'm glad there is something to smile about today...saving the environment. HOORAY! I woke up this morning and got a visit that we ladies don't enjoy...you know...it's that time of the month. Sorry if that was TMI...but my lord...why do we have to suffer like this? UGH! I hate it.
Pain. In. My. Abdomen. It's OK - I am gonna push thru it and ignore Aunt Flo.
I cleaned my house like a mad woman yesterday....vaccuumed, did some laundry, cleaned my closet...and TOOK A NAP! The rainy and cool weather makes me want to nap. So I did. OH! And check out these FABULOUS pillows McCoy and I bought over the weekend from Pottery Barn at MacArthur Center. Again - thanks to returned wedding gifts...we got to use FREE money (AKA Gift Cards) to buy everything. Cause really - if I had to pay for it with my own money...I would NOT spend all that cash. I'll take pictures and video when I get home...but here's the pillows. SOO PRETTY AND SPRINGY!!
I got these 2...the solid in Yellow (or pineapple as they call it at PB) and the other in the print.
We got 2 pineapples and 2 prints and they look AMAZING on our couch.
I'm just waiting for Murphy the Wonderdog to ruin them now...
We got those above but in "Pineapple"...and these 2 too...2 too...HA!
Here's the print a little better...isn't is soo Springy. Makes you want to catch a butterfly!!! Random thought...my bad.
I LOOOOOVE IT! Now we just need som accessories and some wall art. We moved into this condo almost a year ago...and we are still decorating. Yes - WE! McCoy loves to shop for furniture and stuff...although our tastes are different...we seem to blend our style in a tasteful way.
I'll probably do some more shopping this weekend...when McCoy is out of town. He's going to New Orleans Thursday for the Jazz Fest and for his best friend's BACHELOR Party. I hope they have fun...I know I will. I think I will take my-self out this weekend for some girls time. Maybe a Happy Hour on Friday and Saturday....we're gonna go to the VA ZOO's big ROCK AND ROAR Party. BUTTER is the band....and I HEART BUTTER! BEST. LOCAL. BAND. EVER. It's at 7pm at the Zoo in Norfolk on Granby Street. If you want tkt info...like where to buy them, how much and where to meet me for a cocktail (HA!) EMAIL ME...

OK - I'm off to the grocery store right now. My order of business (is that the right phrase?) involves cleaning the bathrooms and cleaning out the refrigerator today. My DOMO sushi roll from last Thursday is still sitting in my fridge. Time to throw it out! But man that was a good Volcano roll...SCRUMPTIOUS!
